Meet our concierge medicine primary care physicians
The following physicians provide primary care services for adults at the Private Internal Medicine Center (PIMC), a concierge medical practice at Scripps Clinic Torrey Pines, Scripps Clinic La Jolla and Scripps Clinic Carmel Valley.
Dr. Andrews went to the University of San Diego for his undergraduate studies and received a medical degree from New York Medical College. He completed residency training at California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco and joined Scripps Clinic in 1996. Board certified in internal medicine, Dr. Andrews’ clinical interests include heart disease, preventive medicine and chemical dependency. Named by his peers as one of San Diego’s Top Doctors in 2009, he is an active member of the American College of Physicians and the Society for Innovative Practice Design. Fluent in Spanish, Dr. Andrews donates his time as a physician-volunteer at St. Vincent de Paul in San Diego. He provides concierge care at Scripps Clinic Torrey Pines.
Dr. Babikian earned his medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine. He practices internal medicine with an emphasis on providing primary care to adults including the treatment of chronic illnesses such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol and diabetes. Outside of the office, Dr. Babikian stays in shape through running, hiking, skiing, and participating in sprint triathlons. He also enjoys spending time with his family. He provides care at Scripps Clinic Carmel Valley.
Dr. Benjamin earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern California and completed her medical training at the University of Southern California, School of Medicine. She completed her residency training in internal medicine at the University of California, San Diego where she was chief medical resident. Dr. Benjamin’s clinical interests include diabetes, geriatrics, anxiety and depression, preventive medicine and women’s health. She has been named by her peers as one of San Diego’s Top Doctors nine years in a row. Prior to joining Scripps, she practiced at a large multi-specialty medical group for 21 years and also served as a regional medical director and a lead physician. In her spare time she enjoys collecting early California art, gardening, boating and watching her daughters play college sports.
Dr. Graham earned her medical degree from Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine and completed her residency at University of California at Irvine School of Medicine. She practices internal medicine with a focus on preventive care and has expertise in weight management. When she is not caring for patients, she enjoys hiking, camping, biking to work and spending time with family.
Dr. Lai earned his medical degree from the New York University School of Medicine and completed his residency at the University of California, San Diego. He practices internal medicine with an emphasis on providing primary care to adults, focusing on preventive care and chronic disease management. Outside of the office, Dr. Lai enjoys running and spending time with his family. He provides care at Scripps Clinic Carmel Valley.
Dr. Levinson earned his medical degree from the University of Witwatersrand and completed his residency at Scripps Mercy Hospital, San Diego. He practices internal medicine with an emphasis on preventive care. Dedicated to caring for the whole person, Dr. Levison has expertise in sleep disorders, as well as cardiovascular disease, diabetes and complex medical conditions. Outside of the office, he enjoys hiking, exercise and watching sports.
Dr. Lim earned her medical degree at the University of Michigan Medical School and completed her residency at the University of California, San Diego. Dr. Lim provides comprehensive primary care services, focusing on prevention. She has expertise in managing chronic conditions, such as diabetes. Dr. Lim enjoys developing long-term relationships with her patients. She aspires to keep them healthy to enjoy a lifetime of wellness. When not caring for her patients, she enjoys cycling, baking, cooking and music.
Dr. Molina earned his bachelor’s degree from Stanford University and attended medical school at the Universidad Autonoma de Chihuahua in Mexico. He completed residency training in internal medicine at the University of Washington, Seattle, and joined Scripps Clinic in 1992. Head of the PIMC, Dr. Molina provides concierge primary care for adolescents and adults at Scripps Clinic Torrey Pines. Dr. Molina is board certified in internal medicine and fluent in Spanish. He and his wife have two boys.
Dr. Starr earned her medical degree at the University of California, Irvine and completed her medical training in internal medicine at the University of California, San Diego. Dr. Starr provides comprehensive primary care with special expertise in prevention and treatment of chronic conditions, such as diabetes and hypertension. Creating a partnership with her patients based on trust and open communication, Dr. Starr develops a care plan that best fits each individual’s needs. In her spare time, she enjoys competitive sailing, jogging, scuba diving, surfing and listening to music.
