Physicians and facilities are conveniently located throughout San Diego County — including primary care physicians, pediatricians and experts in more than 100 medical and surgical specialties. You and your family also have access to walk-in care, urgent care and four Scripps hospitals on five campuses from North County to South Bay and various telemedicine options.

Commercial employer-sponsored plans
The current network contracts between Scripps and Anthem are set to expire on December 31, 2024. If Anthem and Scripps do not reach an agreement before January 1, 2025, Scripps hospitals and Scripps doctors will be forced out of network. Find more information in our FAQs.

Covered California (Individual & Family Plans)

Medicare
Scripps accepts Medicare Parts A and B, and Medicare supplemental (Medigap) plans.*
* Please verify with your supplemental plan that your coverage applies to any Medicare provider. There are rare instances when a supplemental plan restricts your benefit coverage to a limited provider network.
A note about affiliate and independent physicians
If your physician is not affiliated with Scripps Coastal Medical Center or Scripps Clinic, please verify coverage directly with your provider’s office.
