Michael Preziosi, MD, an infectious disease specialist, is expert in the treatment of infections, travel medicine and preventive medicine. Dr. Preziosi provides a wide spectrum of care to his patients. His clinical interests include treatment and long-term management of infectious and tropical diseases, HIV and AIDS, as well as transplant medicine.
Dr. Preziosi believes his patients should be informed at every step of their treatment. His goal is to educate patients about their health, along with offering the latest treatment options available. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Preziosi has conducted, published and presented extensive research at national conferences on the epidemiology of tropical diseases and the emergence of antibiotic resistance in bacteria.
A member of the Infectious Disease Society of America and the American Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene, Dr. Preziosi has been practicing in the fields of internal medicine and infectious disease since 2014.
When he is not practicing medicine, Dr. Preziosi is a baseball enthusiast. He also enjoys learning to play new musical instruments, writing songs for children, cooking, gardening and traveling.
