Brie Wischnack is a nurse practitioner, specializing in laser and cosmetic dermatology. She provides treatment for a variety of skin disorders and uses a range of light-based, laser and radiofrequency techniques to improve the appearance of common skin conditions. She also provides cosmetic enhancements, including skin rejuvenation, body contouring, and fillers and neuromodulators to replace lost volume and relax fine lines in the face.
Brie graduated with honors from the University of San Diego (USD) with a Bachelor of Arts degree in chemistry and mathematics. While at USD, she received the prestigious Research Student of the Year Award, for her work with nanoparticles and laser technologies. She then began working in the field of cosmetic chemistry and became intrigued by the possibility of working as a practitioner, instead of a behind-the-scenes chemist.
After graduating with honors with her Bachelor of Science in nursing from Azusa Pacific University (APU), Brie began to work as a registered nurse for Scripps. While at the Scripps Clinic Laser and Cosmetic Center, Brie was mentored by several Scripps Clinic dermatologists and completed rotations in both general and cosmetic dermatology. During this time, she also completed her Master of Science in nursing at APU and graduated at the top of her class.
Brie is a member of the Iota Sigma Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society and the Dermatology Nurses Association.
