Jerrald Gold, PhD

Jerry Gold, PhD, is a clinical psychologist and currently the administrator of the Scripps Behavioral Health Clinical Care Line in San Diego. His areas of focus include providing strategic direction for the care line and developing community partnerships to facilitate continuum of care offerings for patients experiencing mental illness. 

Dr. Gold has been with Scripps since 1989. Dr. Gold serves on the San Diego County Hospital Partners Group and is active with the Center for Behavioral Health with the California Hospital Association. 

Dr Gold’s innovative back to work program for persons with mental illness known as “A Visions” has received numerous commendations. In 2012, Dr. Gold was recognized as the Mental Health Person of the Year by San Diego County. 

Dr. Gold’s mission is to enhance mental wellness of the community and patients we serve and reduce mental health stigma.
