Alicia Christiansen, MD, believes that central to the practice of medicine is a respectful, open dialogue between the patient, the patient’s family and the physician. As a pediatrician, she feels that she has an opportunity to promote all aspects of a child’s health, including the physical, psychological, emotional and social aspects.
Dr. Christiansen enjoys participating in the care of children of all ages, providing primary care for children from birth to age 18. She has participated in providing health care to underserved populations both in the United States and abroad. She is also fluent in Spanish.
In her spare time she enjoys traveling, reading a good novel, staying active, baking desserts and above all, spending time with her family.
