Dr. Roya Mirkhan earned her dental degree from the University of Kentucky in 1993 and completed her specialty degree in 1996. Her extensive educational and scientific research background enables her to provide the highest level of specialized dental care to patients since the opening of her private practice in San Diego in 1997.
Her scholarly pursuits have led to many prestigious regional and national research project awards in the field of periodontology and dental implantology. Additionally, Dr. Mirkhan has been recognized as “America’s Top Dentist” by Consumer Research Council of America in 2009 and was selected as “Top Dentist” by Peer Review in 2008.
She has recently been given a “Top Doctors and Dentists Award,” as chosen by popular ranking by patients on WebMD and other leading health care organizations in 2010.
Her main professional interests are advanced cosmetic dentistry, full mouth rehabilitation, aesthetic full mouth dental implant reconstruction and advanced periondontal plastic surgery.
