A pediatrician, Adam Whitman, MD, provides comprehensive primary care to children, from newborns to adolescents. He finds his interactions with children rewarding and enjoys watching them grow over the years. Dr. Whitman strives to provide a welcoming and caring environment where adolescents can feel comfortable talking about any issues or concerns during this time of change. He also encourages new parents to ask questions and believes that every question deserves to be answered in a thoughtful manner.
Prior to receiving his medical degree from the University of Michigan, he received an undergraduate degree in biological engineering from Cornell University. He is a fellow in the American Academy of Pediatrics and prior to joining Scripps Clinic, he served as the assistant director for the urgent care department at Rady Children’s Hospital.
In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his family.
