Dr. Sunil Bhoyrul is a general surgeon who specializes in minimally invasive laparoscopic procedures. He regularly performs Roux-en-Y gastric bypass surgeries, sleeve gastrectomies, gastric banding, colectomies, gastrectomies, antireflux surgeries, appendectomies, splenectomies, hernia repairs, adrenalectomies and other complex, minimally invasive procedures.

Dr. Bhoyrul has contributed significant original research to laparoscopic surgery, with numerous publications in peer-reviewed journals, and has co-edited one of the original laparoscopic surgery textbooks.
