A member of the Division of Urgent Care and Emergency Medicine, Dr. Olcott received his medical degree in 1994 from the University of Michigan Medical School and his undergraduate degree in biology from Albion College. He completed an internship in surgery at the Naval Hospital Oakland/University of California Davis East Bay Department of Surgery and a residency in emergency medicine at the Naval Medical Center San Diego. Dr. Olcott serves as the head of the Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton Emergency Department and has served as an emergency physician and general medical officer at various locations in the U.S. Navy since 1995. Certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine, Dr. Olcott is a fellow of the American Academy of Emergency Physicians and a member of the American College of Emergency Physicians, Government Services Chapter.
