An obstetrician and gynecologist, Jonathan Dunn, MD, provides the full scope of obstetric and gynecologic (OB-GYN) care. He is particularly interested in the ultrasonography of early pregnancy, caring for patients of advanced maternal age, and thalassemias – an inherited blood disorder that may affect prenatal care. He also provides fertility evaluations, treatment for postmenopause symptoms, and diagnosis and treatment of acute gynecologic conditions.
Dr. Dunn collaborates with his patients to find a mutually agreeable approach to issue management. He sees his role as that of an expert consultant, providing education and options, so patients can make informed decisions about their care.
In addition to his clinical practice, he is involved in committees to improve the quality of patient care and holds several teaching roles – both as a clinical instructor and resident supervisor.
When he is not caring for patients, he enjoys spending time with his children, hiking, surfing and backyard astronomy.
