Jacqueline Chang, MD, is a physician in the division of chest and critical care medicine. She has subspecialty training in pulmonary disease and critical care, with special interests and expertise in interstitial lung disease, pulmonary fibrosis and lung cancer.
In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Chang has participated in industry sponsored trials for interstitial lung disease and has published numerous articles on this lung condition. She has also received several prestigious awards for her work and was named as a “Top Doctor” by San Diego Magazine and U.S. News and World Report.
Dr. Chang is a member of the American Thoracic Society and a fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians. In addition to her training in pulmonary disease and critical care, she received a Master of Science in epidemiology from the University of Washington.
She believes the doctor-patient relationship should be a partnership and strives to work together with her patients to initiate thoughtful diagnostic and therapeutic treatment plans.
When she is not caring for patients she enjoys cooking, cycling and baseball.
