Becker’s Healthcare IT reported on security team addition

When Todd Walbridge was serving as an FBI special agent in San Diego, he consulted with Scripps Health after the health system was hit by a ransomware attack in 2021. Since retiring from the agency, Walbridge has joined Scripps as corporate senior director of safety and security.


Scripps President and CEO Chris Van Gorder said Walbridge is leading the effort to enhance staff security and training through a range of initiatives that include the use of innovative technology and interfacing with law enforcement.
