Scripps recently created a new nurse navigator role to ensure women with complex pregnancies are closely monitored for emotional and physical well-being, and receive prompt access to specialized care. Scripps maternal-fetal medicine specialist Sean Daneshmand, MD, shared his insights into how to improve care for complex pregnancies as part of a TV news report that aired in multiple cities across the U.S.
