October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Sonia Ali, MD, shared insights into treatment and early detection strategies with CBS 8 TV news.
Dr. Ali discussed the latest advances in immune therapies and targeted therapies for breast cancer patients, along with the importance of screening exams to help with early diagnosis.
Dr. Ali is a breast medical oncologist with Scripps MD Anderson Cancer Center and is a Scripps Clinic physician.
