Media interviews look at newly approved Wegovy

A new weight loss drug that uses a synthetic hormone to curb appetite promises to be a “game changer” in the battle against obesity, said Scripps Ken Fujioka, MD, director of nutrition and metabolic research at Scripps Clinic, during a recent media interviews.


Wegovy was approved in early June for use in the United States for weight loss treatment by the federal Food and Drug Administration.
