The overall death rate from various forms of cancer in the United States has declined for 26 straight years, according to a recent report by the American Cancer Society. Thomas Buchholz, MD, medical director of Scripps MD Anderson Cancer Center, appeared on San Diego TV news programs to discuss key factors that are driving the positive trend. Dr. Buchholz is also a Scripps Clinic physician.
