Scripps oncologist discusses new liver cancer drug on KUSI
Darren Sigal, MD, program director of gastrointestinal oncology at Scripps MD Anderson Cancer Center, recently appeared on KUSI to discuss a new liver cancer drug that is being developed at Scripps Research.
The number of new liver cancer cases in the United States has tripled since the 1980s. Today, liver cancer ranks as the fifth-most common cause of cancer-related death in the U.S.
