Competitive ballroom dancers featured on KUSI
Scripps cancer survivor Steve Valentine and his Scripps Clinic oncologist, Irene Hutchins, MD, recently appeared on KUSI-TV to discuss a unique ballroom dance campaign to raise funds for cancer research.
Dr. Hutchins treated Valentine for an aggressive form of lymphoma and after his recovery the couple began dancing at events to help raise awareness of the disease, including at the annual Cancer Survivors Day at Scripps Green Hospital.
