A growing number of catheter-based heart procedures are being done by accessing the artery through the wrist, rather than the groin, according to a report by 10News.
Cardiologists at Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla are leading the way by performing 85 percent of minimally invasive heart procedures through the wrist.
