News Report: Scripps has Only Hospitals in San Diego with Five-Star Rating

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services recently released its first-ever set of overall ratings for hospital quality. In San Diego County, Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla and Scripps Green Hospital are the only two facilities to earn the highest possible rating of five stars. Only 3 percent of hospitals nationwide earned a five-star rating.

Earlier this year, Scripps Health was again named among the top 15 health systems in nation by Truven Health Analytics, based on quality data from 338 health systems and nearly 3,000 hospitals.
