HealthLeaders Media Features Scripps' Innovative Temp Pool Program

Scripps’ successful temporary worker program, known as Scripps System Resource Services (SSRS), was profiled recently by HealthLeaders Media. Victor Buzachero, Scripps corporate senior vice president for innovation, human resources and performance management, highlighted the growth of the program, which started in 2009 with 25 nurses. Today SSRS has grown to more than 700 temporary employees, including pharmacists, nursing assistants, respiratory therapists, operating room staff, IT professionals, project managers and other positions.
