U-T San Diego Covers Scripps Encinitas Hospital Expansion

Scripps Health celebrated the grand opening of the Leichtag Foundation Critical Care Pavilion on July 1. The $94 million emergency department and inpatient care facility is on the campus of Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas. Annual ER visits to the hospital have increased by more than 50 percent in the past decade.
