Teen Stroke Patient Celebrates Her Second Chance
At just 18 years old, Claire Cordua suffered a massive stroke. Her life was saved by neurointerventional surgeon Giuseppe Ammirati, MD, at Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla. Now Cordua is a student at Rhodes College, is back to playing volleyball, and is celebrating her second chance at life.
